Why are men being blamed for the failure of the marvels?

Majority of men according to statistics 65% mostly white men went to see the marvels so why are left leaning activists and feminists blaming men for it's failure and not women who were the target demo? but women showed up in full force for barbie?

Wrong question- it's not "Why are men being blamed?", but "Who is blaming men?". Once that's cleared up, it becomes obvious: the people who think women being held to basic standards of accountability is "misogyny" aren't going to hold women accountable for something, since that would prompt said women to self-reflection and, eventually, self-actualization.

If that happens, the Feminists lose their meal ticket and the Tradcons lose their votes. They have a vested interest in making sure it never happens.

Seems bad marketing, they forget who is going to see these movies. Like I have no intention of going to see a superhero movie, maybe if Chris Helmsworth or Henry Cavil were in it. A lot of movies I've went to see are maybe because my husband wanted to see them. I saw barbie it was OK, Oppenhiemer bored me a bit.

Can't think of a movie in 2023 that I enjoyed.

We tried watching the marvels during movie night but it was pure crap and we ended up just having sex on the couch.

The failure of The Marvels and other similar recent films has no more to do with men than women. It has to do with companies like Disney putting ideology and social agenda ahead of entertainment. In a free world that will fail every time.
