I just watched it. The family just won a 250 million dollar suit against both the hospital and the family court system for negligence, abuse, willful in both cases. If you have watched it you understand exactly why i say what i say about it.. Its a study in the fact that the government needs to stay the fuck out of our children's lives, same with the social workers and the like. If the hospital had done to my children what they did to their children, i would have gone there, heavily armed, gotten my child out, and it would not matter how many of them had to die in the process. Its evil.
The child had CRPS.. Basically the child Maya, at the age of 10 was diagnosed with CRPS.. the only viable treatment for it is ketamine. In this little girls case, it was so severe that she could not walk, that she had to be given an experimental treatment which was to have her in a medically induced coma for 5 days while they administer high doses of the drug.. it actually worked by the way. It relapsed later during a hurricane in 2016. It was so bad that her dad had to take her to the hospital (mistake). They did not believe what the specialist said about her, that she had CRPS, and instead took custody of her, forced her to endure astronomical pain, and the like because they thought she was faking it on her moms behalf.. Mom kept fighting to get her daughter the correct treatment. CPS placed her in states custody and kept denying her proper treatment. They falsely accused her mom of child abuse. of having Munchausen by proxy. they fought for 30 months.. Her mom killed her self because of this situation.. in 2017 she was released from custody.. Without a mother.. Today she's still got the disease. Still in constant pain. The family sued the state of Florida and the hospital and won.. In this situation i would advocate for prison terms for the pieces of shit that did this to their family.
