Trending & News Based on what I’m seeing (from the comfort of my inflationary bunker of doom) in terms of economics and the bond market, yeah. You don’t destroy half the value of long-term treasury bonds and have repeated failed bond auctions due to excessive government spending without breaking something. When I tell normal people this they give me strange looks or say “Yeah, you sound like my granddad who always said the end was near.” But this time, with dedollarization accelerating due to the sheer insanity of Uncle Joe and the neoconservatives confiscating foreign reserves, maneuvering us into one geopolitical defeat after another, discrediting the petrodollar reserve currency in the process, and trying to assert hegemonic power despite being in firm decline, the end really is near. Probably the markets/economy get hit first then, after short-covering relief rally in bonds, probably more trouble with bonds. When that happens the government must decide whether to cut spending radically (you know they won’t!) or let inflation rip and destroy the wealth of most people. Add to this the influx of ten million people since Uncle Joe opened the floodgates, keeping housing and food expensive even now. If I’m correct we will see poverty in America unlike anything in our lifetimes.
Good thing I stopped eating at Subway at least 15 years ago!! Did you know that the same stuff they use to make those thin rubber mats to keep the bread on is also part of what goes into the dough to make the bread?
Isn't Joe doing a WONDERFUL job with the economy?
I'm scared of being homeless, too! In my case, it's mostly due to GREED!! Same thing that forced me out of my last house 4 years ago!!
i truly feel for you about the prescription nonsense. it is straight up ridiculous especially when you need those prescriptions to function or even live!
i am afraid for our future too. it's been bad for so many years, i'm not even sure if we're close to the light at the end of the tunnel or if there is even a light at all.
but i feel like towards the end of 2024 things will start to turn around and get better. this is just my timeline and what i'm hoping will happen. it won't be like this forever, it is unsustainable already as it is.
Where on Earth is a Subway sandwich $20? I got a 1/2 a sub just last month for about $6.

Yeah everything keeps going up but our salaries can’t catch up, looks you’ll need a roommate to help pay for things
@Likes2drive
Getting a roommate is impossible. As it is, I live in a small studio apartment.
So I guess it would have to be a significant other helping out with bills living there
@Likes2drive
Thank goodness I really don't have any bills except for rent and utilities. When Patrick was alive we both had a social security check every month. He was just going to start using his retirement money if we had to, so I felt secure 😔
@Likes2drive
He hadn't started getting his retirement yet, he was going to, so, no money for me. 😞
Oh , and since you weren’t married you didn’t get his social security money now either
Not for me. I'm getting a huge raise.
not for me buddy
