It's simple: you have the "approved" groups and the "unapproved" groups. This is why Germany gets roundly condemned for committing genocide during World War 2, but Japan doesn't, and Turkey's doing the same in the first World War are ALSO ignored- unless it's an Armenian doing the complaining.

Israel, meanwhile, simply pulled a Henry VIII and created its own groups. This is why you'll hear people saying "six million people died in the Holocaust" (ignoring the other HALF of the victims, which also works out neatly for the anti-Jew people) and that "bias against Jews is antisemitism" (ignoring that Semites are a linguistic group, not an ethnic one, and religion has nothing to do with it).

Meanwhile, ever-increasing political polarization declares that anyone your "side" supports is flawless and can do no wrong, and anyone the other "side" supports is evil incarnate.

Have the terrorists that executed the attack been dealt with? Are the hostages being returned? Has blood been traded on both sides? God does not want anger, hate, or revenge to dwell in your heart. God wants your life to be filled with love, mercy, and forgiveness. If a peace can be made, then a peace should be made.
