Israel has been trying to drag the U. S. into a war with Iran for decades. It deliberately blew up the Iranian embassy in Damascus on April 1st in a cowardly attack that violated international law. But international law never stopped Israel before.

In attacking Iran, Israel thought the threat of U. S. backing would prevent Iran from retaliating. Now it is hoping that Iran's retaliation will provoke the U. S. to attack Iran which, again, is something Israel has wanted for decades.

The problem is, Iran isn't some small, weakly armed country. Plus, it has powerful allies. The U. S. knows that attacking Iran would likely spark WWIII. So I doubt if the US. will attack. It will probably just send more weapons to Israel like it did (in vain) to Ukraine.

Israel has very few friends. More and more of the world has come to see it for what it truly is and despises it.

Israel has been humiliated for the first time in history. It has no more impunity. The blow to their ego's must be unbearable.

I hope their newly revealed vulnerability makes them a sitting target. They need a severe pounding.

The land was part of the ottoman empire until the British took control of it during WW1.. then they declared it was to be a Jewish state in the Balfour Declaration of 1917 and helped facilitate that.

The land was under British control until 1948 when they withdrew and Israel declared its independence and then was invaded by Egypt, Iraq, Jordan but Israel won and has won every other attempted war after that..

The problem in the middle east and most Muslim countries is the in breading is having major intelligence effect of the people. The IQ of the surrounding stats is significantly lower then Israel. The reality is they are being left behind technologically while Israel is not and they have no chance to catch up. And no chance to force them out.. the average IQ of the surrounding Muslim countries is 80, Jews is about 115
