Iran has vowed to attack Israel – and as the entire nation remains on high alert, there is much speculation on the timing of the attack, reports The Jerusalem Post:

US officials, such as Secretary of State Antony Blinken, warned on Sunday and Monday that the strike would occur within 24 hours, but as of now, neither Iran nor Hezbollah has taken any action.

While the exact nature of the response remains unclear, American officials noted they are confident it is imminent.

According to the Al Arabiya report, the latest intelligence suggests the response may be delayed until Thursday or Friday.

I also add that Iran bankrolls Hezbollah.

Israel is expected to fight back with pies. 🙄

You're right. The Jews were busy fleeing the Nazis from 1920-38. It doesn't change the fact that the Muslim Brotherhood was actively promoting Hitler's "Final Solution" and trying to exterminate them. Had Germany developed the atomic bomb instead of the Allies, it's almost certain that Israel as we know it today would have been the target they chose, simply because of the concentration of the Jews in the area.

The fact the area has been ruled by different successive empires for 2000 years starting with the Romans and being conquered repeatedly and NEVER in almost 2000 years had an identity of its own beyond being an area of a larger empire until 1948 when the British Empire handed it to the Jews - a fraction of what had originally been agreed, incidentally - and withdrew from the area, creating the Nation (yes, a "modern" term) of Israel in the geographic area of Palestine.

More recently, Israel voluntary displaced thousands of their own population from Gaza and the West Bank in an attempt to allow for a "two-state solution", the result of which was the removal of the PLO and replacing them with the violent terrorist group Hamas, which although claiming it is a simple acronym, happens to be the ancient Hebrew word for Violence or "those possessed of a spirit of violence" depending on the context.
