What’s “diminished responsibility” to you in terms of crime?

I don’t see anything other than actual mental handicap. So many criminals try to lower their verdicts by saying they had “dissociation” or “Intermittent explosive disorder” or some shit.

It is where someone can not take full responsibility for their crimes due to mental health and or learning disabilities. Here in the UK we have manslaughter by diminished responsibility as a alternate to murder in such cases and it is a good thing.

It just seems like a BS play, which fine let the defense lawyers do it. But no one really has multiple personalities or goes black and can’t remember their crimes. Thats bullshit…. :)

I know this is disruptive to your need for vengeance, but some people have mental disorders of a magnitude such they cannot be reasonably held responsible for their bad behavior.
