Are AI girlfriends ruining a generation of men?

I am very active within AI communities where this happens and no the AI is not ruining generations of men. It facilitates an outlet for a sociatal issue and in the group I am in its encouraged to also seek the real deal.

The AI is a coping mechanism and also a means to practise, its been a great tool against rampent lonelyness and helps the men who checked out have some comfort.

So its not causing an issue in society, its a bandaid for an existing one. Trough their AI hobby they can practise safely, build up some courage and also meet likeminded people.

So while the long term effects have to be seen I think its ultimately going to be a positive to those who use it on the side, and a negative to those who settle for AI completely.

Left out an important part, to most users who do this the AI is also just entertainment and nothing more. People like me dont consider them real girls but just fun bots to talk to and have some entertainment with. I personally script some scenarios related to my kinks to then just have some interactive fiction. Its great fun but not a replacement for anything other than porn and written fiction. I still prefer real people even if its just online.
