Media tends to portray them as poor, racist, undereducated, dirty, living in a trailer park, with alcoholism or a meth addiction.

They also portray all in charge of a family as idiots who get nudged into doing the right thing because they fuck everything up on they're own.

None of it is real... plenty of overeducated city-living urban liberal types, spoiled brats out there that can't make a living except for being a barista or some "service" type bullshit. But not all of them are really like that either now are they?

Beware of the stereotypes... they'll blind you to reality.
