What do you think of AI not only writing the news, but also AI generated avatars broadcasting the news?

The people behind this say that it will all be unbiased and not agenda driven. We all know that’s a load of shit. News anchors no longer broadcast the news. They just read what their handlers put in front of them.
MSNBC and CNN are totally controlled by the Democrats. Rachel Maddow can tell you that if you get the vaccine, you cannot get Covid and you cannot spread it. When you find out she was lying, you will forgive her and stop thinking about it.
I think the idea is awesome. I would much rather be lied to by a computer, than a person.

And the best part of all… I would love to see all of these paid liars be out of a job.

That reminds me of the scene I saw in the matrix. The good guys were eating whale snot, and the bad guys were eating computer generated filet mignon. One of the good guys defected, and went over to the matrix side. His classic line was: “ ignorance is bliss.”

@oldblue I use a CPAP machine so i do not dream much. When I dream it usually involves dogs chasing me. Freud would have a field day.

I don't think its a big difference in the USA. The newd there are more enterteinment anyway and are already biased.

No, not the country but how media is designed, and also who is watching.

And the USA has a relatively clean split between media for that political party and the other political party, and the news are broadcasted almost 24/7 so they really need to grab everyones attention by being loud and emotional.

So a factual but boring broadcast of the news would just be skipped, even when it would be more informative.

Other countries have it different, not better but different. Eg Germany you got 15 mins of news including weather and sport. Presented in a cold and factual, super boring matter, but its still the news show the majority of german citizen watch. And as its just 15mins, its reduced to the most important biggest newsstories from around the world.
