What are your thoughts on AI?

I like using art generators to make prints I can sell for easy money

I like playing with them but I don’t make money off of them

I don’t bother

AI is an incredibly useful tool but unfortunately it’s greedy tools that want to use it most

Ai is great! Yea yeah you have the anti-Ai art and etc but in reality unless your just blissfully dumb you would realise many people are capable enough to appreciate non-Ai work even if Ai work didn't have it's Anti Army.
It's like the whole far fetched concept of if we had Ai that did everything we would stop socialising and stay inside letting it do everything for us. That's just not how humans work. Covid it's self proved to many people that they are social and need that.

So when I hear Ai is stealing from real artists and that I just laugh, you could have Ai music that's cool but that wouldn't stop me following people who create music, wouldn't stop me from going to gigs, wouldn't stop me buying band merch.
Same with Art you can have Ai Art but that won't make me stop appreciating real artists.

Both can and do co-exist.

We do have AI that we use for every day things, algorithms are AI, but open AI like chat gpt or AI art generators are not the same thing

Pointing out why someone is wrong is not the same as dismissing. I already explained why those critiques are wrong maybe you need to go back and read I don't know.

I think AI can be quite useful, but I'm not convinced that IT can replace everything, for instance it's still better to know a language yourself than to rely on a device to translate everything for you.

I hate AI. I hate that it exists. In fact, I'm fresh from posting my own question about AI (on GAG though).

I don't think the robots will kill us all. I think people will (and already are) use AI to do terrible things to other people.

I think that AI in the hands of governments will complete the panopticon. (it already has in China)

The robots won't do it. But AI is going to ruin the world.

It can definitely be useful but needs heavy regulations badly in my opinion. too many greedy people wanna use it for bad reasons.
