Why don't white people celebrate their heritage (for example) Polish / German / Russian or British Heritage Months to honor their ancestry?

I'm from Poland, and to be honest, this question caught me off guard a little, but ill share what I think. In the case of countries with predominantly white populations, such as Poland, Germany, Russia, or Britain, the concept of having a specific heritage month may not be as prevalent. This doesn't mean that people from these backgrounds don't celebrate or honor their heritage; it's just that the historical context and societal dynamics are different.

In some predominantly white societies, heritage and cultural celebrations may be integrated into broader events, festivals, or historical commemorations rather than having a dedicated month. And also, in countries like the United States, where there is a diverse population with various ethnic backgrounds, the focus has often been on recognizing and uplifting minority communities that have faced historical challenges.

In conclusion, a decent amount of us in Poland actually celebrate, but in different forms... A simple party or group chat about culture will do... I've always been pretty confused about the US dedicating a whole month to... Anything... Honestly.

I think the creation of the interstate highway system was a big contributor of white culture. The lure of the open road and the car culture which is predominantly a white thing is a big part of the white identity. The old TV show Route 66 is loaded with white culture
