I moved many months before COVID erupted.

I moved because the political climate in the Philippines was getting too hot to handle.

I moved because most my investments are in the USA and needed hands on attention.

Besides, I also wanted to get closer to my family here.

He was a Congressman when we met.

He was a Senator before his Presidential bid failed.

During a Catholic outreach mission in the southern island of Mindanao, we got stranded in a crossfire due to a battle between 2 muslim rebel forces. The rescue forces that extracted us took us to a safety zone that was largely funded by then Congressman Pacquaio. Our outreach mission ended up treating wounded victims and consoling relatives of casualties. Months later, my group of volunteers was invited to a party co-hosted by 'Pacman' who wanted to thank our group for setting up our clinics to help victims, etc. When I shook his hand, I thanked him for inadvertently saving our lives. Since that meeting, I got invited over-and-over again throughout the years to numerous functions hosted by and for Manny.

My husband & I were often invited to watch his Manny's fights but each time I watched him in person, he lost! The first live fight he lost with me in the crowd was when he was viciously knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez in '12 and the next was when he chased Floyd Mayweather throughout the night of 5/2/2015 only to lose in the end. After that, I refused to personally watch his live fights. Instead, I said I'd rather sing along with him on the karaoke despite being an awful singer myself. (He sucks at singing too! LOL.)
