Leprosy... Do you spend a lot of time hugging random immigrants from Africa and the Indian sub continent at homeless shelters? No? Then you'll probably be OK.

New born syphilis... Do you sleep with a lot of women that have syphilis? No? Then your kids will probably be fine.

Gout... Are you a vegetarian? Are you morbidly obese and have diabetes? No? Then it's a non-issue.

All of those things are within your control unless you're allowing people to inject experimental shots into your body...

Gout is mostly known to have occurred in royalty that ate only game meats and were to obese to excersize or do much of anything. The rest yes I agree.

Blame it on kings and magic rather than basic science stuff huh? You vegans are crazy as hell... You know you could just look up hyperuricemia right… That would lead you to information on uric acid and purines. Then you could do some deductive reasoning and come to the conclusion that maybe diets high in purines could contribute to uric acid build up. You know foods like dried beans (especially fava and garbanzo beans), peas, mushrooms, spinach, asparagus, etc. might have an effect on you… Don’t vegetarians eat such foods in excess to compensate for protein not received in meat? Don’t they often supplement their diets with protein enriched cereals and protein powders? Obviously… Don’t they often have micronutrient deficiencies? Obviously… Don’t they have elevated risk for kidney stones? Obviously…Isn’t kidney dysfunction also associated with gout? Obviously being that you have to excrete waste properly. Don’t oxalates that you might find in certain nuts like almonds, and cashews or their equivalent nut milks, in grains like bulgur, corn grits, cornmeal, millet, brancereals, rice bran, soy beans and soy milk and soy flour, potatoes, spinach and other leafy greens often have high leaves oxalic acid? Yep… Don’t vegetarians depend on said foods for much of their dietary calories? Obviously… But it’s the royalty and their cruel hunting of fuzzy little creatures in the forest… Fucking ridiculous.

I love meat but gout is mainly caused by shrimp, fish, red meat, and game meat. All meats I love except the game which I never eat. But yes peas and cauliflower and I think that's it for vegetables.
