The Western world is falling apart. Mostly thanks to the extreme leftist policies led by academics, especially in America.

In my Lifetime we've seen the fall of communism in Russia with the rise of "Reaganomics" and capitalism in the West - which quickly became a euphemism for "greed is good". Freedom in society grew through the 80s and 90s but has now become insane. Accepting other's differences - a good thing - has been twisted by the Left into the insanity of children being mutilated because they're allowed to "self identify". Anyone who tries to tell the emperor he's stark bollock naked gets crucified and accused of "hate speech" for actually saying what is blindingly obviously factual - like Will Thomas should be stripped of the titles and records HE broke while PRETENDING to be female.

But people are sheep. And sheep are really cute but not known for their intelligence.

I confidently expect one or two people - maybe more - to block me as a result of this reply. I'm actually past caring. It simply proves my point if instead of engaging in an intelligent discourse someone makes a slew of personal insults and then blocks me if I respond in kind.

I don't "hate" "trans" people any more than I hate any other mentally ill group, but just because you're hearing voices doesn't mean I have to engage with them.

And my having a different opinion about the world doesn't mean I hate you for not sharing it. At least, it didn't when I was a kid.

John Wayne's opinion was that he was only responsible for what he said, not what you heard. I like that concept. It makes sense.

I might be able to have a conversation with one person that avoids either of us being offended, but go to a group of my three closest friends - guys I've known for 30 years - and all four of us will be offended at some point by something one of us says if we talk for more than five minutes. And actually, that's why we're such close friends. We can offend each other, which makes us think.

Based on my observations over fifty years, if this world survives the current decade without a new World War I'll be surprised. Relieved, but amazed.

It used to be that people were more kinder and more matured.

I don't fucking know what happend lol. More people these days are SELFISH. And they're even PROUD of it and display it on social media! Another part of me though, feels like people have ALWAYS been that way. The thing is, it just got easier to be bad or immoral. I don't know why. People have enabled bad behavior like bullying, cheating, or all around being an immoral person.

I feel like it started in the beginning of the 21st Century. I feel people have always been/ of have had a bad side to them, but they more or less kept in more inside because then, they feared how they'd be looked at. They had more of a care about their reputation.

Also, liberals and convservatives. Don't get me started on politics! It's like their fence is getting bigger/more extreme. a lot of people are stricly one sided.

Because everyone is into the new age stuff, where you are your own god, or working towards greater enlightenment that would lead you that way. We no longer believe in an absolute authority over all, and since we are into self acknowledgement, we no longer see doing bad things to others as wrong.

So, a world that has no acknowledgement of God, and is into self growth, no longer wants to follow that which was set by God in the beginning. The world we are living in is going to get worse as time goes on. We have lost our way. We need to get back to absolute truth!! Not truth based on people's opinion.

All geopolitical signs of heaven and earth show that we move towards world war. US wants to confront China in a kinetic conflict, economic and political war between China and USA is already here. This conflict will affect all world economies significantly more than Russian invasion on Ukraine. This will be an Armageddon for our consume oriented societies.
People are just animals. When their life quality lowers they get angry and violent. I don't think in next decade there will be any positive impulses. Ergo: I think the world gets much worse and we need to be mentally prepared for that.

It's gotten better in terms of resources and supplies.. The average person especially in the West is living like the elites did back in the old days.. Everybody has access to do better in life, or at least most people.. The World seems closer than ever before, and technology is upgrading at a crazy pace, and less large scale wars.

With that being said, it's definitely getting worse as well.. People are becoming more selfish than we already were. Even with more information at our fingertips with tiny computers, people are less educated than they were back then. All this technology, convenience and ease of life is making us more docile..

Just from my younger years. The world has gotten worse. A handshake was as binding as a paper contract. People weren’t trying to take everything that you owned. Wages were low, but you could buy a lot more with them.
I hate to think what the younger generations will have to deal with in their lifetimes.

Better.  Children are not expected to get married,  Education is available for more people,  Diseases that were considered incurable, can be cured. So on and on…  It’s getting a better place.

From what I see the world is getting worse daily. While race equality has progressed, men becoming more feminine is an issue. There are powerful people in the world that will slay the weak at the drop of a hat. It may not been fair, it may hurt your feelings but a strong country will walk over weaker people. Sad times indeed.
