I sound American to many/most.
I have lived all my life on the West Coast of North America (up and down it), which has the least distinguishable affect of all accents, it is said by linguists (I'm interested in this, so have researched it). I'm 'accent-neutral', lol.
But some can detect Canadian in me (which some have confused with Midwest U. S., but I can strip that out quite consciously). Or that I was raised by a Cambridge-educated Brit in the house. With a bilingual German mother. So, a European bent.

I don't know which accent I have when I'm speaking English. All I know that I obviously don't sound like a native speaker.
When I'm speaking my native language, my accent is a mix between my country and the country where I live.
Born and raised in southern California. Lived in California all my life.
