Because I was British and then lived on the east coast and west coast of the states for various years, I am one without accent. People tell me that. I just speak clearly. So naturally, alexa hardly understands me. I have to lower my tone to beef-neck levels only then she wakes up.

in English general American with hints of french and probably midwest too. dont particularely dislike or like it, it just a normal American accent to me at least (it's mainly other people who tell me i have a tinge of something foreign sometimes)

I'm from two places so it often intertwines. I'm from South Carolina so I have a bit of southern accent but mostly city accent as I grew up partially in New Jersey. Some words I say is totally southern but most of my accent is city-like or I would say just plain American. It doesn't really have anything to it. Hardly a southern drawl.

Well at first I didn't even know I had an accent until my ex from texas told me that I have a Michigan accent.{where I was born} I didn't even think that Michiganders had an accent. But apparently so

As many people think themselves. I'm not aware I have an accent but to others from distant or different lands I suppose we all have some kind of accent to the ears of others and I'm ok with whatever accent I have.
