America seems so weird to me?

I had a special interest for the English language so I learned it by myself as a Turkish - also I grew up loving the Hollywood movies. But all until I have witnessed to the real deal by videos I've seen on the social media. All that lgbtabcdfq, drunk people on the street, uncomfortably common hook up culture, I know most of these exist in some other countries but, Usa is probably on the top of the list. What do you think?

Interesting , I saw a USA movie the other day ( Halloween Style thing ) , and the use of the word Fck , was just seen as " core language " , but I have never found it to be the way the movie portrayed when I have been in the USA.

Now , sure there are elements of all you've mentioned , but take my country for example ( Australia ) , pretty diverse , has some of that too of course , very different top to bottom. Australia on population in just ONE USA state , that giant island !

I think that analogy describes things better , the only thing that I really despise about USA is the gun culture , and the way they handle medical insurance , these two factors need to change , but probably they never will.

You can't judge all of America by what you see on-line, but it definitely has its share of screwed up people. And there is a huge gap between the haves and have nots. Our institutions are corrupt and the agendas being pushed by politicians (especially Democrats) are deliberately harmful and divisive.

That being said, America is a big place full of natural and man-made wonders. And there are many very wonderful people. It's not as dystopian or nearly as dangerous as portrayed in the media.

Because we are a nation of apparently horny people, drunks, druggies, and political dissidents. We have crooks in Congress and Presidents who are not much better - or worse! All the money goes to everything and everyone but our own taxpayer's needs. Given that who would not wind up weird?

I'm honestly surprised that an American agreed this, you guys are the last hope of the country 🙂 And If I was an American, I would definitely vote for Trump in 2024, wishing the best for all of you

I'm a Canadian but I started 2 businesses in the US in the late 90s and the difference between how it was then and how it is now is stark. I believe that Americans are about 95% normal but the 5% extremists on both sides are flying their freak flag higher and higher every day.
