Why do I feel tempted to give into my landlord’s inappropriate offer?

My landlord made an inappropriate offer knowing that I am broke and unemployed right now. Is there something wrong with me that I am considering taking him up on his offer? I mean I can’t afford anything right now and it’s just sex right? I am confused about why I am even contemplating his offer. Should I just go along with this to get through my difficult time?

No. I wouldn’t. It’s called prostitution. Besides how would to feel during as well as after letting a stranger who you have no emotional feelings for do something like that to you? What if you’re in the same situation again? Would you do it again? Eventually you’re going to become desensitize to having a connection w someone on a higher level when it comes to a relationship. The way you’re talking, saying it’s just sex makes me think you’d sleep w other men as well to make money for rent. Not to mention, honestly that is going to turn a lot of men off when it comes to a potential partner. I don’t know your situation but sounds as though you didn’t plan ahead for times like this. How long have you been unemployed? Have you tried selling things besides your body? Do what you think is best for you. Just understand there’s consequences w choices like that.

It depends on what sort of person you want to be. You are young. Do you wish to have integrity and be willing to suffer for it? Do you want comfort at any cost, even letting others use your body? You are at a critical juncture. Choose what kind of person you want to be wisely.

What he’s doing is highly illegal. Document everything he’s saying and find the best way to turn him in. You may be able to get financial compensation just for him propositioning you this way.

what do you have to do? depending where you live rent can be very expensive... it really depends on what he wants.

Desperate times call for desperate measures so you’re not wrong in thinking about the offer. However, this situation can get a lot worse if you cave in to someone else’s temptations. This might not be a one time thing and maybe this could be used against you. So you really need to weigh the pros and cons

Don’t do it! You got your whole life ahead of you. Document everything he says or does and if possible record your interactions on your cell phone. Maybe get some of those video recording spy glasses. You can find them on eBay I believe. But first do a free talk with a lawyer for his or her advice.

I would do it only if you have no and I mean no other options. Get him to put the deal in writing and have him sign it... take a picture of it and save it to the cloud also to cover ur butt if he changes his mind afterward. definitely use a condom!!!
