For those who know me, would it surprise you if I told you I was a feminist?

I saw your reply adding more context and in that sense no I am not surprised.
I share every one of your views as well.
You are not a modern day keyboard feminist who gets a dopamine rush from spreading hate on the internet.
You're a rational person capable of envisioning a well balanced society that doesn't take things to needles extremes but instead allows everyone the chance to make something of themselves.
No because all of your questions and myTakes on here had a confident attitude. You always seemed to me ambitious and straight forward also none of your takes I could remember are concerned towards traditional feminine activities like cooking or raising children but you seem to be more interested in politics, history and social dynamics.
That´s why I´m not suprised.
Its not a problem being a feminist, it was actually for women to be as important as man in the society if im not wrong.
Nowadays some women have changed the agenda of feminism and believe in women superiority which is well beyond wrong
@Angxl3120
Exactly
Not surprised at all

It wouldn’t surprise me much.
Feminist just means women should have equal rights.
I think there are different types of feminists including more conservative or more leftist.
I knew a girl who describes herself as a pro life feminist.
Somewhat. As you are so interested in history it did cross my mind once to wonder if you ascribed to more traditionalist values when you put up the wedding dress. Every girl is a feminist though.
If saying that men and women are different, if saying that men and women are not physically equal, and that yes, the woman needs the man and the man needs the woman because the two are certainly different but complementary.
If to say all that is to be "traditionalist", then yes, I am.
I would add that, for example, forcing companies to have a quota of women is really insulting for women, because we don't choose women for their skills but just because they're women, which is completely stupid.
But then, I'm happy with the emancipation of women in society, that we're no longer content to be housewives is a good thing (women who want to be housewives, that's great, I've got nothing against it) but I'm happy to know that we have a choice. Etc etc In that sense I am a feminist
You sound like a normal traditional woman.
These qualities have disappeared from most American women.
I think that is all very sensible and I anticipated that was the sense in which you were using the word. It would be to the detriment of society if we weren't all free to take our skills and knowledge were it could go. For myself I am looking forward to purchasing your first book!
I think there is too much dogma and guys and gals are perfectly able to work it out. So other people should stop shouting.
if i knew you i would knew you were a feminist and would already block you
which i will do right now, later kuz.
You always talk about france, and france is liberal country, so I am not surprised.
No surprise. What surprises me is the image says that the feminist fight for equality ended in 2017 ... that's interesting news.
"Shocking. Positively shocking."
- James Bond, Goldfinger
No. Feminists don't bother me. Women who try to act like men who don't know what being a man is about bother me.
I don't know you but considering the amount of propeganda out there its also not surprising.
I'm not because I think most women in this site are IMHO.. Be hard pressed to find a woman that didn't subscribe to Feminism in some way here.
You should really rethink that, because all you will end up with for being a feminist is cats, boxed wine, misery, and a lonely death.
How does that even work? Is it like a hobby? What type of feminist exactly? Equal rights or hatered for men?
Aren’t most women, men hating nowadays? Either feminist, gay, trans, or have plural pronouns that we learned in grade school doesn’t work or make sense.
So, what changed?
And no, I wouldn't be surprised
Feminist... the gender equivalent of the KKK.
It doesn't surprise me, but it certainly makes me lose respect for you.
Let's keep it that way.
How dare you find equality in men and women. How dare you not think that one gender is better than you just because they have a penis. No respect for you. Get back in that kitchen lady. Make that sandwich now.
@mandyfire98 If feminism were about equality, I would agree with you. But it's not and you know it, and you still support it. Feminism is as feminsm does, and anyone who supports today's feminism is a shitty human being. Yes, that's you. Get some honesty already.
I don't know you, but many women have been brainwashed by feminsm, so learning that you're a feminist wouldn't be surprising.
No, not at all.
Well Joan of Arc was probably a feminist
No, I don’t think you are
Sorry for your loss of brain cells.
Not surprising but disappointing.
Definitely not.
No, I wouldn’t be surprised at all
Yeah, very
Your username text is pink so no.
