assume for a moment co2 is bad like pollution, u. s. government is putting effort and limits and money toward limiting co2, and indeed we are far less than china, in picture, but if china, who nobody can stop, is polluting real pollution And 31% of the co2 anyway,

and the top 5 minus china is 4 countries 29%, even combined china more, shows the vast amount therefore the effort and expense is not justified since china is unstoppable, pollution the air huge amounts of real pollution and huge amounts of co2, which by the way YOU exhale breathing all day contributed co2.

Our bodies use carbohydrates as fuel. We need carbon dioxide so our trees can grow, absorb the carbon from the CO² and release the OXYGEN

CO² is 0.04% of the total atmosphere. Human activity produces roughly 3.2% of the 0.04%

That's 0.00128% of the atmosphere produced by human activities INCLUDING FARMING

The USA produces approximately 13% of the 0.00128% of the 3.2% of the 0.04% of the atmosphere.

If CO² were to fall below 0.022% of the atmospheric gas, all plant life on planet earth would die. Then all animal life.

Human beings in government can't be trusted to do a damned thing, but we're going to blindly accept them telling us to eat fucking insects and reduce our "carbon footprint" to "save" the planet?

And they decided this meeting together flying in on private aircraft for a steak dinner where they produced as much CO² as a small town just to get there... But "we're" the problem.

China is reducing their CO2 emissions greatly.

They had a huge spike as their industry grew but are now reducing their emissions faster than any other country.

Also every bit helps, so even if no other country is reducing their emissions, its still good to start.

And as always the dosis makes the poison. If we got too much oxygen in the atmosphere it would be bad as well, and too little co2 would also be bad.

So even if we breath oxygen and co2, its still bad to pump tons of additional co2 into the air.

My brother told me about a large office building in Seattle. It doesn't have a parking lot for employees. Instead, the employees are expected to walk, bicycle or take a bus to work. But everyone, including the boss, just takes Ubers and parks a block away and hope no one sees them get out of them.

Now they can all virtue signal on their social media about how they are doing their part to save the world.

CO2 is part of the life cycle. It is not a pollutant. We are currently at about 400ppm of atmospheric CO2, or 0.04%. During the Mezozic Era atmospheric CO2 was 1500-1700ppm.
