Biden has no plan other than stay the course and let his inner circle, most if not all of which are Obama admin holdovers run the country. He's not really the one in charge; he doesn't even know where he is most of the time. Swapping out a different candidate also won't really matter because the Democrats treat the office of POTUS as a figurehead to rally the masses, while decisions are made behind closed doors by what is essentially a globalist, corporatist committee, or as they like to call it, "public-private partnership."
Trump's plan is to basically rewind to pre-covid policies. This is far better between the two, but I've seen little to no indication that he has learned from mistakes made during his first term, particularly in the context of letting fellow new yorkers who actively and openly undermine him, and others who schmooze him enough off the hook. Furthermore it's clear his own party will be completely useless, so it would be overly optimistic to expect any lasting improvements; anything he does will likely get undone on week one by the next Democrat or swampy Republican, and odds are pretty high that the latter would follow his term.
You're going to get different answers depending on who you ask.
For me, Biden doesn't have a plan. He is too dementia ridden to actually make any rational decisions and I am convinced that the administration itself became the president for the last three years.
"His" plan was terrible because we have been in constant economic crisis and for the first year, the average gas price rose to almost 5 dollars which is not natural, inflation was rampant thanks to the Federal Reserve printing money like crazy (to be fair that started during Trump's final year but Biden didn't seem concerned about it at all), and the government was allowed to go rogue under his watch, Trump at least tried to stop it but he didn't put much effort.
Trump, on the other hand, is the more anti-establishment candidate. People laugh at the idea but there is a reason why the establishment has succeeded in removing him from the ballot in some states without due process in a court of law and many states will continue this effort. People like some people in this very comment section will just say that he is a racist, sexist, homophobe you name it and it's such a dumb tactic, you can criticize him without throwing playground insults or making shit up.
As far as what his supporters expect of him, look no further than Argentina's Javier Milei. He cut the number of government programs by nearly half and removed a lot of government regulation over the economy, thereby reducing the amount of taxes the people will owe and allowed a freer market.
I hope Trump is paying attention to Argentina because the US needs the same treatment.

Nobody has to make anything up about Trump; he's been found guilty in court of fraud and sexual assault (which would be termed rape in many jurisdictions), he is facing trials for trying to overturn the 2020 election, with more evidence coming out every week, and he obviously took documents he wasn't entitled to and showed them to people without security clearance (there are recordings!).
