Illegal aliens can’t vote. Not even recent immigrants can vote. I think it’s six years before you can even get permanent resident status, and then another five before you can become a legal US citizen, and only legal US citizens have the right to vote.

You cannot vote until at VERY LEAST nine years after moving to America, and that only if you married a legal US citizen, and that’s three years after your 6 year green card instead of the usual five year wait.

My point is that no one living here for less than just shy of a decade can ever vote in an American election, so the entire idea that immigration, legal or illegal, has any immediate effect on our elections is patently false.

In the state that I live in they voted to give illegals drivers licenses. A few weeks before the election the secretary of state goes on TV to urge people to vote. He says that all you need is a driver's license to register to vote. Can you connect the dots?

@exitseven I’m pretty sure you’ll be rejected even if you have a driver’s license, haha. The Sec’y of State is simply incorrect if that’s what was said. All I know of on that front is that I think in NYC you can vote in local elections on a green card. But state and federal elections still require you to be a fully legal US citizen.

We worked a lot with hypothetical questions in the philosophy class I took in college. I was really shocked how many of you people can’t answer hypothetical questions. That philosophy class was the prerequisite to get into logic.. Even more people couldn’t grasp that.

So I do ask a lot of hypothetical questions on this site, and it would probably be best if you don’t reply to those.

@WhiteSteve The sec of State is in charge of all elections. It makes no sense that he would not know how to register to vote. It may not be legal but the Sec of State is a democrat. The governor is a democrat and the registrar of motor vehicles is appointed by a democrat governor. Nobody will make a stink if illegal aliens vote.
There was a guy that works for the registry that spoke anonymously and said that absolutely illegal aliens will be able to vote. They purposely set it up so there is no way to check citizenship when somebody registers to vote.
All the democrats have to do is tell them that if Trump is elected they will all be sent back. Hopefully it will be true.

That’s it, that’s the answer. “Most local elections” is the only thing suggesting anyone but people with full citizenship can vote in any way, and that at least makes sense if you’re residing in a city for half a decade. State and federal elections are not allowed. Secretaries of State can do things, but they still have to hold up under scrutiny in a court of law. The courts ultimately have the final. Democrats, Republicans, and Independents alike all work in every field that could be involved in the process, there’s no entity that’s all one party, completely unchecked, and the fix is in.
