Yes, when you understand that in multiple western countries the leaders have allowed in tons of immigrants who DO NOT have any intention of changing to fit into the country's social ideas/norms. What they want is for tribalism to develop. Tribalism leads to tribal warfare. More violence justifies the government raising taxes to "protect you". Higher taxes reduces the individual's freedom and moves us closer to communism where everybody (in theory) is on the same level. Voting has nothing to do with it. The main question is who has the Constitutional authority to deal with immigration, and many Constitutional scholars believe that should be Congress, not the President nor anyone else in the Executive Branch.
