How worried are you about nuclear war?

people keep brushing it off as if it will never happen, but what can happen, will happen. the major powers of the world already opened a can of worms by creating nuclear bombs.

i mean why create these weapons of mass destruction, if you don't intend on using them?

for the past 70 years or so, the world has lived in fear of nuclear weapons and every new conflict raises the question, will nuclear weapons be used?

even if the country who launches the nukes first and wins the nuclear war, they lose to the nuclear fallout after. everyones loses and dies.

On the list of things that I’m actively worried about, it doesn’t even touch that list. If it happens, it happens. I can’t do much about it and I’m not going to live my life in fear of it *possibly* happening in my lifetime.

Maybe brief thoughts here and there but I haven’t sat down and seriously dove into the idea and thought about what the consequences might be if it happened.

well i mean the consequences are obvious, the world ends. i think it's more important to ponder on why and how humans could self-delete themselves like that.

There’s endless ways for how humans could self delete, and endless possibilities for how our world could end. For all we know, the sun could explode next week and wipe us out in a split second. Not much that I can do about it so it’s not something that I actively think about.

No. Nuclear war is too destructive. Biological warfare is where its at.
