What are some signs you may be in a cult?

I can name three.

1. Are you shamed or punished for associating with people not part of the "group"?
2. Are you shamed or punished for asking questions about the "group", its stances, or its teachings?
3. Does the group consider people outside of the "group" to be evil? example: if you're not a democrat, you're a maga racist

Whats sad is i personally hold traditionally liberal values.. As in Freedom of speech, Freedom of religion, and The right to own guns and protect your self. But leftists see me as a radical right winger.. Sad.

Democrats are not really traditional liberals. They are more aligned with a totalitarian government with them permanently in power.

Cults are organizations that hold views and norms outside of the common beliefs of the vast majority.

If you are a believer of these views and really believe that it is the correct way to behave you may be in a cult.
