Gavin Newsome is presently the Govenor of California where I live. He has been in many respects the best Govenor we have ever had.

Personally, you haven't knew some would make a best friend. You don't even make a good friend. He he wouldn't even make a friend be a friend. Nothing good about him is when he got his ass out of office and ran this damn state into the ground man. I tell these California Democrats man Democrats. Said hell. No keep going. We do things our own way out here and wonder where up here. I don't like having to do some the governor so frankly nah he would make a good person we already got. We already have a vision of Gavin newsom in office right now. Do you really want more of that? We need people who care about this country who have a love for it not getting office in rape the country. We don't need no more of that. We need some of that. I can unify this country and his people. That's what this country needs. We need to rebuild this country. It's falling apart. It's old. We need to rebuild this country. Bring it into the 21st century because it's stuck in the 18th century. Look around the aesthetics the cities. We have to start caring for this country because it's the only one we have. We need to quit this division that's taking place amongst the people and come together to make this a great nation. Once more I'm going to tell you something. A lot of foreigners come here and they just abused this country. Take advantage of what's offered. That's all they come here for to get what they can. You don't give a damn about assimilating or being a part of it and I have nothing against foreigners coming here. But if you going to come here assimilate in the country, be a part of it. Respected, you have to give up your country. If you become a citizen of this country, you're now a US citizen. You can't flip flop back and forth. You got to choose one or the other but we got to stop being so passive also letting other countries dictate our way of life, a constitution and whether people believe it or not. America is the last beacon shining the last freedom of beacon and so many trying to put that beacon out and once that light goes out then hope goes out in the world. And it's my sound funny to to you guys. But it's real. This is the last bastion of freedom in the world and everyone is trying to put that light out I'm not saying America is the greatest nation of all time. Yay! It is in retrospect, but it's the last place where freedom exists and people take it for granted. Don't follow politicians. Follow your common sense and your heart. You know what's right from wrong. Don't let politicians devise you divided your conquered united you're stronger. Complain to the game. They're trying to divide you and they're doing a good job of it. Stop the Democrat and Republican bickering. You have to power to kick them out of office. You put them there. You don't have to tolerate this. I don't know what else to tell you. The people need to wake up in this country. Are you going to find yourself a third world country within 20 years? No better than Haiti Guatemala. That's what the other countries people here are trying to do and that's the truth and I love this country. I've done a lot sacrifice a lot for it and it's saddens me deeply to see the state that it's in and how sleep all the people are this is just my view of the state of America today has the change and people need to learn to appreciate and have love with this country again. How has he been the best governor? He's driven the state into the ground while he fusses with his slicked back hair and $4,000 suits. People are leaving the state by the tens of thousands. Businesses have been leaving in the 5 years he's been in office, and taking thousands of jobs with them. What used to be a $200,000 3-bedroom house now costs $1 million. The cities are overrun with homeless people. Taxes are at an all-time high both dollar-wise and by percentage. He's sitting at the French Laundry with his wealthy friends not wearing masks, spending taxpayer money on $500 dinners while throwing working people in jail for not wearing masks. The streets are filthy with feces and urine. Illegal immigrants are out of control. Violent crime is rampant and not prosecuted or punished. Shoplifting is not even a crime anymore, retail stores are just shutting down. The movie industry has completely left the state, almost all film production is in Vancouver or Atlanta or Wilmington or Toronto, just in the past 5 years. What is one thing he has done that has been good for the people? There isn't one.

He would be a nightmare. California has always been a moonbat state but he has driven it into the ground. California has lost the most people of any other states and the exodus continues. They have the highest taxes of any state and also the largest budget deficit. Crime is out of control. Shoplifting under a thousand dollars is not even considered a crime. Newsome continued the lockdowns during Covid while at the same time sent his own kids to private schools. He is a typical liberal Democrat that loves to spend other people's money.

People have both left and entered. The actual net loss is minimal. Why do you care?

The tax rate is 10% - high, but not the highest in the county. It is offset by the fixed 1% of the last sale price property tax - the last sale price, so it is not tied to market value and does not vary from year to year.

The deficit is about 68 Billion $, but why do you care? - it will not directly affect you or me or anyone we know.

So many people have left they have lost at least on congressional seat or is it two? Yes they are getting people to move in but mostly illegal aliens. Why do you think the democrats are pushing so hard to have illegal aliens be coun ted in the census?
The tax rate is misleading because there are many other local taxes and fees that push it higher and if the deficit is the largest in the country and the taxes are sky high it means that the state is being mismanaged. You could never run a business like that.

I pay taxes but they aren't onerous and the difference between say 7% and 10% is not really a big problem for me since these are state taxes and I get lots of deductions because of the kind of work I do.

I lived in CA for 37 years and just left last year. Gavin Newsom is a terrible governor and would make a terrible president. He supports illegals, criminals, drugs, pushing trans agenda in schools (I worked in schools there for 13 years), and requires a "diversity" course before finishing high school that is actually a CRT course with a different name when you look at the actual curriculum. He also supports the leader of China, has housing laws to PREVENT affordable housing, caused utilities to greatly increase (37 cents per kwh when I left before they recently increased as opposed to the 8 cents per kwh in the state I live in now). CA has higher gas taxes because of him, and one of the worst homeless problems too.

Whewww a lot of angry people talking mad nonsense about Newsom. I was born in Southern California and loved there for 28 years. I love my home state and I currently reside in a toxic waste dump compared to CA. Let me tell you what people outside CA see when they look over there: a governor legit doing his best to keep the world‘s 7th largest economy growing and running as smoothly as possible. CA is a stronger state than the country of Germany. You have resources, laws, and a healthcare system that rivals most others in the world. Newsom is doing far better than most, if not all governors across the nation, easily running CA more efficiently than any Republican-controlled state, and living outside of my home area, I know have so much more appreciation for places like CA and governors like Newsom.
