The only thing that gives me reservations about them buying thing is the inability of the goverment to prevent them from effectively exporting them.

Its one thing to pass a law saying china can't have x-technology but if china owns a company they can easily- enough to "lose" it to their Chinese side. Its hard enough for American companies to secure any of their property form the Chinese Government hackers regardless.

They literately scan the internet hitting every business all the time. This has been a economic war for them for decades. Its really sad that many of the companies they bought, were bought only after China stole all their technology and out competed them with it.
Not all of those companies were dumb enough to actually go to china.

They don't have enough money to buy the US. But yea, they can buy companies, land, offices, etc. The US government actually encourages outside investment in companies. They even have special visas for it.

They will soon have enough money for it. It is insanely scary how fast their economy is growing.

They will never have enough money to buy the US. That's because the value of it is far higher than the amount of money in existence. Money is only for everyday minor transactions. There just isn't enough of it to buy everything, not even close.

It's simple math. They don't have that much money. Their entire money supply is not even close to the value of the US. But they can't even spend all their money. They could only spend a part of it. Otherwise they'd completely collapse their economy. Even if they wanted to, they could only afford to buy a small fraction of the US.
