By now, the DNC and 'Alphabet Mafia's (ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, etc) plan should be obvious -- back Haley as the nominee in the hopes that Trump will be barred from participating in the general election, paving the way for a Hillary style circa 2016 defeat.

Not really sure how it helps at all. Literally no one is interested in her. The people that claim to be are all going to vote for Biden or not vote when the general comes around. Her only hope is that Trump drops dead or is disqualified from the ballot before the convention. So she has maybe a 5% shot at the nomination.

In the event that DOES happen, you can be assured the media will be falling all over themselves to tell us that Nikki Haley is 100x worse than Hitler and an even BIGGER existential threat than Donald Trump ever was.

Yes, it will. Haley is an establishment warmongering hack. Democrats LOVE war, but they hide it. How many wars did we have under Trump? Zero? How many do we have under Biden? Three? The Democrats don't want Haley to be the president, but they will vote for her in order to NOT have Trump win. They don't care about what's best for the country.

It's not that Trump would ever choose her as a running mate; it's that the bad guys (Dems, media, tech, academia) are betting that Trump won't be allowed to run, and if Haley's the only one left standing, guess what? She'll be the de facto nominee, once again chosen by the bad guys, instead of the American public.

Dems’ and the media do not back Haley. Quite the opposite, in fact. Public polling suggests Haley beats Biden hands down. Trump v Biden II is neck-and-neck like last time. The only person who says otherwise is Trump. The only evidence (of either the Dem/media conspiracy or the outcome) is because Trumps says so…

This is turning out horribly for her. She is obviously a fake conservative. Her campaign is bought and paid for. She has no connection to her own base. At best, she could’ve peeled away 10-15% in New Hampshire from Trump but she couldn’t even manage that.

Remember, liberals are obsessed with rules, regulations and parliamentary procedures -- primarily because those often archaically ossified relics of yesteryear benefit them far more than anyone else.

That's because in the U. K., conservatives are viewed as incompetent by the press, and the public largely supports that categorization. Remember the huge inflatable 'Trump Baby' flown in the streets when Trump visited London? No offense, but I had a conversation with a guy from London a couple of years ago, and he was just determined not give DJT any credit for anything whatsoever. He said, 'Trump is a joker', to which I reminded him that we had the best economy in nearly a century under Trump. Predictably, he said, 'Well, that's just the economy'. As if there is really much of anything else worth worrying about. Of course, with Joe Biden being the paragon of righteousness and virtue... I can see why this guy from London preferred him... NOT...
