The question is not what name "will" he take but "should" he take

He's always been known as William so I suspect he'll go with that. However, the name does connect him with William the Bastard, and William of Orange which could irritate the Catholics in Ireland.

Historically kings have tried to link themselves to King Arthur to give themselves legitimacy to rule so that's an outside possibility but that could wind up anti-royal Welsh.

Philip and Louis just sound too French so I reckon its going to be King Willy

I'd imagine he'll be William V, but Philip was his grandfather's name, so I think there's a chance he chooses that name.
