Use the entire road to avoid a wreck if you have to?

This has always been an opinion of mine. If opposing traffic is clear and for some reason some idiot pulls in front of you, pull all the way into oncoming traffic if their aren't any cars coming to avoid the guy. Nobody wins if you get into a wreck. Opinions? Obviously don't cause a head on collision because you'll probably die lol

I hate the road and try to avoid driving. I'm not much of a driver but I do have one scary story. I was driving and then this woman decided she was just going to turn into my lane and run into me. I quickly went right in between two big semi-trucks to avoid her. I'm pretty sure that truck driver saw that shit and was like WTF.

Another alternative... let that bitch hit me and possibly end up under the back tires of one of those trucks. Better to just risk some shit and avoid anything at all. I spent most of my adult life in Japan and I didn't really drive much even though I have a Japanese driver's license. So that might not seem very scary to you road-driving people, but to me it was.

I pulled into the left hand turn lane once to go around a guy that pulled in front of me. I don't even think I hit the brakes. Just doubled back over just before hitting the traffic light pole lol

Phucking A red324... this is why I try to avoid driving. Just being in the passenger's side is scary enough for me.

Put enough following distance between you and the car in front of you, and the problem will never occur.

Just one of many benefits derived from not sleeping through driver's ed.

Pfft you can't do that here. Everyone cuts in front of that gap I use to stop.

Then you back off from them, too. You can absolutely do it where you are. There are quite a few people still alive because I mastered the trick, and they thought nothing of cutting off a semi.

I do. I'm just saying I can't keep as much as I'd like because people cut in front of me, but I leave way more than 90 percent of the people on the road

Yes definitely I've had to move out of the way of crazy drivers a few times

On my two wheels I usually see my possible escape gap at all times.
Most of the time it's on the far left (we have left hand traffic here)
