Have you ever had a "now I understand" moment reading history?

When I was young we had a German woman happily married with kids. Her husband the mostive jovial person I've ever met. But she was filled with piss and vinegar in her mood all the time. I didn't understood her and it made a scar on me for German women. Thus, I avoided girls/women of German heritage as I grew up. I developed a bias...

and then I was reading around WWII history and developed an idea of what she may have experienced that created such disposition. In all my reading of history, I had no idea how bad they had it at the end of the war. This is one snippet.

Have you ever had such realization? There's much good I take out of this piece not just the bad, but it's eye opening as to realities of lives people have lived.

I'll say that I've learned a lot about reality. History more complex and nuanced than most people imagine. Ancient history, international bankers (Rothschilds), Lincoln, the Civil War, the true origins of the first World War, WWII, facts that contradict some of the Holocaust narrative, Zionism, Israel, U. S. motives for all it's aggression, nefarious elites and institutions, the list goes on and on.

The problem is, the more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know.

Power attempts are made to cover up true history and push agendas.

Are you saying her father was a Russian soldier or soldiers after ww2?

no I'm saying the trauma she witnessed would have created a terrible disposition, even if just a child. she was from Germany. If not that trauma, imagine all the others...

Only when I've seen a youtube video about the Korean war, that's technically still ongoing but it's mostly on ceasefire.
