Interesting Constitutional question.

There appears to be nothing in the Constitution that prevents a former President from being a Vice President. The 22nd amendment does limit the President to being elected to no more than 2 terms, but it doesn't say anything about a Vice President becoming President if they had already served 2 terms as President, though limiting a person to 2 terms as President was the reasoning behind the amendment.

Yes, BUT I believe that term limits still apply. I'm pretty sure a person can only be elected twice as President and can only serve as President for a maximum of 10 years. So I'm not sure if, say, Obama could run as the VP for instance since he's already served 8 years in office.
