under Chinese law, they can seize all that data whenever they want. It can be weaponized against us, they can use it for propaganda purposes, not to mention the fact that they let anti-Semitic pro Hamas propaganda spread like wildfire on there. I can’t deal with people who use that app and refused to stop it. I think it’s a sign that shows just how many stupid people there are out there.

"Anti-Semitic" and "pro-Hamas" are pretty much mutually exclusive.

Besides that particular niggle, in comparison with the likes of Facebook or Google, TikTok is small fry. The repressive totalitarian government on the opposite side of the planet is much less of a danger than the oppressive, would-be totalitarian government right here.
