With everything going on in the world it’s easy to become weary of some sort of oncoming disaster, whether it be an EMP that causes no electricity or hackers hacking into our WiFi and communications system or even a war. I have to admit I used to be one of those people that would prepare for the worst and I still am but not to an extreme. I definitely have a checklist and a plan if any of these things occur.
No, if something that cataclysmic happened, you wouldn't be able to prepare for it, but like the potato famine or great depression, just pray to god and hope that in the end your children end up surviving to have children of their own.
You can prepare for natural disasters, like massive power outages, logistic issues, hurricanes, flooding, what have you. You find that preparing for one makes it easier for other contingency plans. You figure on functioning radios, a week of propane for the generator, plenty of ammo, 2 deep freezers full of food, canned goods out the ass, walkie talkies, back-up cars, and a couple dozen gallons of gas you're cycling through on a regular.
That covers you for most of the time a disaster occurs until you can evacuate easily. If there's nowhere to evacuate to, how are you going to store a lifetime of MREs, bucket food, what have you? They do have a shelf life, even if some of them last a decade.

A lot of people are saying no whatever comes comes basically. While I get you can’t prepare for every situation you can eliminate some of the concerns that may happen w all disasters. I’m not building a bunker myself, but I do have extra batteries, power station w a solar panel, TP, etc, etc. Remember what happened during the pandemic? People couldn’t find TP, baby formula, diapers or wipes. I also have guns, not particularly for a pandemic, I just like guns. Spent about 10 years in the military so I have a few guns, some ammunition.

I just let it comes as it goes, if it happens it does LMAO
I wouldn't say that I'm some sort of avid doomsday prepper, but I have some items in case shit really hits the fan. I have a couple emergency power sources, guns & ammo and a cabinet of canned foods and bottled water that would last me a fair bit. It's mostly for severe storm preparation though because I live in tornado alley and looters will take advantage of situations like that so id like to be prepared. I don't believe any sort of apocalyptic events will happen in my lifetime though.
We have enough food and hopefully enough water for at least 10 years. Gun power for at least 5 years. Gas for maybe month. However would it be really worth the time to start over if the end was coming? Besides also if the things or some was gone it might be lonely.
The most prepared pepper is prepping to live in a world no one wants to live in and for most of them they aren't surviving much longer than the unprepared. In the worst case maybe you'll live a week longer than the rest of us.
After hurricane sandy I prepare for every thing in my family we have long range radios that we'll communicate with cause the first thing that went was cell phone we have generators and solar for power we even have a central spot to meet up in case thing really get crazy and we have to evacuate. In New York everything change after 911 and hurricane 🌀 Sandy so now I prepare for terrorists threats and inclement weather

no...
but, for hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, freezes... stuff like that, yes
the Gulf of Mexico can get funny sometimes... lol I started stockpiling food and supplies during covid. I started again recently and I have been stocking up on ammo too. If Trump wins the election there is going to be chaos.
I have 25 year food, water, guns /ammo, barter items, Gold /Silver, Alcohol for wounds , gas, oil, batteries. For the breakdown of order. Jesus will return to rule the earth in Israel for 1000 years. So world doesn't end.
I clean my guns. The end of the world happens, I'm taking everybodys shit.
I'm pretty well stocked for storms/natural disasters and the looting that follows. Kinda the same packing list, so yeah. Could always be better, but if a tornado flattens the town I could go a few months without leaving.
Yep guns and ammo, I also wanna get tactical gear including some gas masks
No. Most likely, nothing that bad us going to happen, and if it does, we'll probably all due anyway.
I prefer living in a world of optimism, not hate, fear and destruction.
Step one is GET OUT OF THE CITY! Step 2 is grow your own food, aside from having your bible in hand and you actually reading it to know God's commandments.
The older I get, the more I realize it's all political and money driven. You younger people will figure it out later in life too. Don't sweat it, they will always have a boogie man for us to be afraid of.
I already have a well and septic system, I just need solar panels with battery and some fruit trees like mulberry, nut trees, chickens, and some spare parts for everything.
I currently have a wager with some friends that we will see a world scale conflict by 2030
Nah ain't no reason to prep. I'll load up the guns and how it ends is how it ends. This isn't a movie, it won't be pretty and or cinematic
There is only one prep you need to make for the end of the world. That is a relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Other than that once the end comes it is the end….
I’m no prepper, but I am moderately prepared for several likely contingencies.
if you live in Florida with hurricanes you better be prepped and if in California with earthquakes too and anywhere if your are not then shame on you
