How can a dictator be overthrown if the people don't protest because they are too st*pid zombies? How can a dictator who uses the country as his personal object be overthrown?

For all practical purposes a dictator is defined as someone who has set it up such that the only way to end their regime is violence. You need a sufficient force to overpower whatever army he surrounds himself with. Kill him and all his loyalists and the rest of the army will have nothing else to do but follow along just as they did when the dictator took over.

An actual dictator pretty much can't be overthrown without military force. This typically requires specifically the equivalent of a full-bird colonel to lead it because that's the highest ranking officer who has direct command over large numbers, or intervention from a foreign country.

It's a coup d'etat, it happened 2 years ago in Myanmar. You would need the support of the military leadership, the legislature or parliament, the banks, the utilities (oil, electric, water, phones, internet) and the news media of that country. If you fail, the dictator comes out stronger than before.
