I got thrown very far away from the jet cycle I was riding after I attempted to take on large waves just to find out if the jet cycle was powerful enough to ride high on the large waves or through 'em.

I landed full frontal on the water and got knocked out cold for a few scary seconds.

I was only 10 then.

I got my "woohoo!" (more like a "hell ya!") answer with a lighter jet ski, not a heavy jet cycle, the following morning.

Plus, I was showing off to impress some boys who were talking tough earlier.

All the jubilation immediately washed away with the tide when the bill for the damaged jet cycle was presented to my parents.
