Why are drug dealers glorified? They are still shitty people?

Im not talking about someone that only sells weed. I’m talking about people who sell meth heroin, fentanyl, and all the other horrible drugs. Yeah a murder ends someone’s life, rapist and abusers traumatizes someone’s life. Yes they are horrible but drug dealers can be just as bad. They poison their communities. Sure people willingly buy the drugs but it still doesn’t make it okay. Depending on how much they sell they cause a large chain reaction of problematic situations. The more they sell the worse they are.

Glorified? The behaviour you describe sounds more like they're getting ignored - like people don't see them as the issue they are. I don't see people glorifying drug dealing

Because money talks and in lower economic areas crime is seen as well paid and thus glorified
