Who are the primary victims of war?

This was something that I saw recently, certain groups believe its women, when in reality it's not. It's those that die, which is almost exclusively men.

What do you think?

Men getting killed/maimed in the most fucking horrific ways are the primary victims of war. To say otherwise is like men saying "men are the primary victims of rape", which is absurd.

@SolitarySolace I agree with your second statement, especially family feuds etc. But the first one? I guess there are a handful, but who? Cleopatra? Isabella of Spain? Mary Queen of Scott's? Jean of Arc?
