Because Israel spent decades defending itself against Palestinian attacks, and been rebuffed every time it tried for peace. They were indulgently willing to live and let periodically-attempt-to-murder-us-all, until Palestine finally proved it MEANT it when it made "death to Israel" a core tenet of its national philosophy.

It was conquered by the British just like the Native Americans where as well here in the US. That's what happens in war all through history.. it happened to the Jews as well. That area was conquered multiple times by, Greeks, Persians, Romans, etc.. and then by the British.. and now it's Israel that's what happens when you lose wars.. you lose
