He is impressive! I had not heard of him previously. There is always a trick of course but very hard to conceive of what it could possibly. Wow!

The only reason it doesn't scare is there must be a trick... there must be a trick... there must be. The one I watched didn't seem to be plants.

Oh yes of course there's a trick, he says it himself lol. He uses several effects, he uses tricks from traditional magic, a lot more psychological manipulation like cold reading, etc, and his "acting" skills. All this to manipulate people mentally and create his shows.

Fortunately, he only uses his skills for the show. This guy could be a high-level swindler, he could create cults, pretend to be a medium etc.

Are you talking about the mind control guy? I was disappointed to learn that he is a homosexual, but I enjoyed his programs, but after it was revealed he faked the Russian Roulette stunt it made me wonder what else was staged. I'll admit some of his tricks seemed questionable.

It's not surprising that there are "tricks" in his tricks, because Derren Brown is like a magician, but a magician of the mind. Only he doesn't just use illusion and so on like traditional magicians, he also uses human psychology and so on.

That's what I'm saying. I don't necessarily buy the idea that someone's mind could be manipulated like that. And the $100 bill inside the circle was extremely questionable. Then again, I'm not a psychologist. I would like to see some accredited scientists attempt to replicate some of his tricks.

Yeah, for the Russian roulette he made even the people who were there believe that they were real bullets, and he managed to recreate the illusion of a true bullet so that the people who were there would believe it too, but in reality the bullet was a fake bullet. So if he'd made a mistake, he wouldn't be dead. Anyway, there's no way a country would allow such a thing to happen with a real bullet.

But that doesn't change the fact that he managed to "guess".

In fact, on several occasions, he himself has revealed some of his tricks for telling people to protect themselves against people who claim to be clairvoyants, etc. He uses cold reading etc. a lot.

He uses his skills and knowledge of human psychology, magic (i. e. ability to create illusions) etc. to create shows.

But this kind of guy could very easily create a sect or pretend to be a medium and also earn a lot of money.

A French mentalist said that with the techniques used by mentalists, it wouldn't be very difficult for him to set up a sect or that sort of thing.

The "random audience member" wasn't so random. And remember he took an earlier shot towards the hay bales 'cuz he "wasn't sure"

Then they'd know it's fake😂 But someone said even a blank at point blank range can do some serious damage. From what I recall finding, the "random audience member" wasn't so random, and he knew where the bullet was the whole time, and deliberately saved it for the end and took that extra shot to build suspense.

Yeah, I know about cold reading. It's a common trick and I saw some of those videos where he talks us through some of his tricks.

Yeah. I saw Chris Angel on Steve-o's podcast, and he is convinced there is no such thing as a real psychic, but I'm dead serious, I've had prophetic dreams.

There was a Wiccan girl on here who said a true psychic/median would never charge for their services. But I wonder why I haven't heard anymore about psychic crime solvers. But I've legit had prophetic dreams
