The GOP has been bashing Biden for doing nothing about the border for 3 year, and now that he's doing something, instead of saying "finally! It's about time! Thank you!" They are criticizing him for doing in only for votes.

Isn't this proof the GOP never wanted Biden to do anything about the border so they could keep using it as a political hammer to hit him with?

President Biden has literally closed the border with an executive order without Republican approval… While the last guy’s administration HAD Republican majority in House & Senate also the ability to do executive orders and couldn’t do this. When the GOP keeps labeling this guy as a “immigrant hugger who has no brain or function who hates America” then it really hurts whenever you get played by him.

President Trump promised on the campaign trail: Infrastructure, Veteran Benefits, Repeal Obamacare for something else, Afghan pullout, jobs, etc. President Biden delivered on ALL via Infrastructure Act (Infras. & Jobs), Chips & Science Act (gives jobs), Expands Obamacare (Trump now supports expanding), Afghan pullout in one term (unlike the previous), Pact Act (veteran benefits), etc.

Republicans paint Biden as Far Left however all evidence shows he is actually in the center. President Biden has been willing to work across the isle to get things done however it is the Extreme Right that get in the way. Midterms 2022 allowed extremists in the GOP (4-5) to sabotage voting/passage of meaningful legislation that a majority of Americans approve of.

That is how I feel and how I know they are hypocritical, if you want to prove you aren’t hypocrites… Support Biden for closing the border, speaking out against undocumented immigrants hopping the fence, wanting fentanyl detectors at all border crossings (Trump and his allies killed it), veteran benefits, infrastructure, etc.

Yeah, that sounds about right, and this is just one example. But the Dems do the same. When Trump wanted to ban Tik Tok, they said it's a violation of the First Amendment, but now Biden wants to do it and everyone supports him.

But yes, BOTH sides are hypocrites. The Left wanted to see Trump fail, and the Right wants to see Biden fail to prove a point. And you're right that deep down they would prefer if Biden did nothing about the border, so that way they could come in and save the day and use it to hammer him like you said.

That's why even though I'm more conservative, I've stopped respecting the Republican party and don't want to associate with Republicans or ulta-Conservatives, because they do the same exact thing they shit on Democrats for and they're just as stubborn and can't take criticism

He should have done this 3 1/2 years ago rather then allowing the invasion of our country and I would have believed it's sincere rather than a desperate man trying to pull out a disaster of a presidency.
