I think America within the last 3-4 decades have become increasingly accepting and caring when it comes to members of different ethnicities, races, religions, disabilities, genders, sexual orientation, identity, etc.

There will always be racism and bigotry no question about that, although we are becoming more accepting of those that are different which is a great thing to see.

No I don't. The cost of living in California is so expensive. minorities cannot survive there. Of all the homeless people in the United States, 30% are in California. And California has the highest number of people fleeing the state. That doesn't sound very accepting to me.
