I think the DNC agreed to the debate because they know Biden can't win and this gives them enough ammunition to 25th Amendment him. However, they also know that Kamala can't win but she is the heir apparent and if they don't choose her, they alienate too many black voters (and you KNOW how the DNC panders to minority voting blocs.) So they go to Harris and tell her they will 25th Amendment Biden and she will become president for the remainder of his term but, in exchange, she must announce that assuming the role of president will take all of her time, she'll have no time to campaign, so she must refuse the nomination.

With that done, the DNC is ready to put forth their own candidate and I think it is Gavin Newsom (who is not a winning candidate but the DNC refuses to acknowledge that their far left agenda has failed.)

I agree with you. I think that Gavin Newsom will become the next candidate. He is the governor of California where I live and he is very sharp and well spoken and I think he would do very well against Trump. He is certainly a far better choice than Biden who should never have been chosen in the first place.

@OlderAndWiser My guess is that Gavin Newsom knows that whoever wins this election, it will be their second term (let's ignore age), which means neither Biden nor Trump can run in 2028, and that's the year Newsom has his sights on, which is a good strategy because the Republicans really have no one in the wings for 2028.

@AviatorTom Either Marco Rubio, Tim Scott, or Ted Cruz could be the candidate. However, I'd like to see Ted Cruz on the Supreme Court if Justice Thomas chooses to retire during Trump's second term.

From what I have heard the Big Guy is not going anywhere. Today he gave a speech in NC just to show that he still has all his marbles. I watched the speech and all I could think of was that he was a cranky old guy yelling at kids for playing baseball in the middle of the street.

I agree that Biden does need to step down. The problem is that if he steps down now that calls into great question, his ability to even be the president for the next 6 months or so. That makes an even bigger mess in some ways since it might be necessary to actually replace him for those 6 months. I think that would be extremely difficult to do in a procedural fashion.

@msc545 What I do not understand is that now that Biden's own FBI has verified that Hunters laptop is the real thing why has the House not begun to impeach Biden? The laptop is the last piece of the puzzle.
The democrats impeached Trump twice and then tried to impeach him a third time after he was out of office. I cannot imagine it would be that hard to do at this point.

I'm not aware that the FBI has verified anything. You know pushing conspiracy theories like this is not productive in the least. We have some real serious problems in this country in adding something like this into the mix just makes things worse. Nobody is going to impeach Biden no matter how much you wish for it.

The problem both parties have is that there is really no one else to replace the current candidates that has a good chance of winning the election, which is why there are two old guys running for President, guys who should be enjoying their retirement.

Well, if you don't care I won't bother. But yes people have been criticizing CNN for being way too lenient with republican lies for quite some time. Their anchors and commentators no doubt have a left lean but whoever is calling the shots clearly does not.

The purpose of CNN seems to be to help expose left leaning people to right wing misinformation. Or, put another way, if you were given a bunch of money and the task of putting right wing misinformation in front of centrists your best possible work would end up looking identical to CNN.

JOE, on the other hand, has a LOOOONNNGGG laundry list of crimes he's committed BUT, because he's a democrat, he's free to walk the Earth and continue committing more crimes!!
I wouldn't hire him as a dishwasher, either! He's much more valuable than that and I'd have WAY too much respect to give him a job like that!
And, if he DOES go to jail, he can still run the country from there!! Besides, what are they gonna do, jail his secret service detail, too?

@Dongie Well, at 61, you oughta know that being smart and educated does not start at 21. It begins here, and now. Everybody on here thinks 14 equals incompetent, but I'm here to say, that an incompetent homeschooled 14 year old is going to college, that she has released a book, that she has survived being raped, having an idiot father, and much more that you would never know. So back off, I have freedom of speech as much as you do. I may not pay taxes or go to the movies to watch an R rated movie, but I sure as hell know what I'm talking about.

I know there is no such thing as a 14 year old that doesn't know everything. I know that!!

You don't have to. Every adult knows all people upon reaching the age of 14, realize they know everything, and older people know nothing.

@Dongie No... at the age of 14, I've realised that I have to make goals, listen to the older and wiser people and correct the older and dumber people. Like I said... 14 years old does not equal incompetent.

@Dongie I don't know everything... I'm making a point that I have learned enough to state the facts I do know. I'm a studying author. I study a lot and I'm an author.

@Dongie Okay... Well, I have supporters. I write to influence kids my age to make better choices, my book addressed things people don't say. For instance... child porn addiction. It isn't pretty... And for 7 years (yes half) of my life I was addicted to porn. It helps to write about experiences that'll help others. It's 2 and a half years clean for me and counting.

@Dongie Sir, leave me alone, I feel sorry for what you went through. But I wrote about my tragedy, write about yours. I was addicted to porn since the age of 4. I can't imagine what it must've been like for you, but you can't dismiss my struggle. You wonder why children are out here killing themselves! They get dismissed so quickly because they're young and nobody is bold enough to help them! You're 61, surely you feel at least something in that twisted, strange, demented heart of yours when I tell my story.

Not when you feel you know me well enough to judge me and insult a man you've never met. I respect my elders to this day. That is what's missing in the youth of today. You never had a spanking. I hold myself back because of your age. Go onward with your verbal abuse. I am tired and do not care to play further. Madam...

@Dongie Actually, I was raised right, I get my behind whipped (bc I'm a little bad from time to time.) You are very arrogant for your age, I know some children are raised by that "Gentle parenting" shit, but I was raised to respect my elders, and help the ones who don't know. Please look at our comments. I was never disrespecting you, in fact, I actually showed the fact that I felt sorry for you being included in porn at the age of six. You said nothing about me being raped or my addiction to porn that I got over.

I don't recall YOU being raped. I'm very sorry. The rape of a child is about it. Done.

@Dongie Because you didn't know, in this chat alone, I've said it twice. But... it's kinda crazy how this conversation went from politics to why should I be allowed to speak. Haha, I get it now, just another hideous teenage face in this world who should be hit on and not speak. That what kids are for right? Especially what women are for too. Or am I just too dumb? But thank you for finally reading and feeling something about what I say.

I haven't gone back. I just read your last. As far as what you say about me and my treatment of kids and women, you should speak to one of my nieces and a nephew. They could straighten that out. As far as my treatment of women, I guess there are a few you could speak to. They'd probably not be too kind toward you for lumping me in with the rable out there. But I'll not only spare you, but naturally, they as well. They would say, "Why am I listening to a little q4 year old girl in the first place. I'll give you this, you are very persistent, and we all see that you're smarter than average. The thing that held me back from writing in success is my poor spelling and Grammer. My grammar is atrocious. Thanks to spell check, I nailed that one. I have a vocabulary because I read about 500 plus novels between ages 14 and 27. I've read one work of fiction since 2009. 'The Lord of the Flies'.🤷‍♂️

@Dongie I don't like being mistreated still. I just want you to understand that I do know what I'm talking about, you do seem like a nice, guy and you actually listened when I spoke, so I'm going to leave it at this, I'm cool. Friends?

But, yesterday I was riding in a car that was very bumpy and difficult to hit these little buttons. But I guess I didn't like your quip and preference of that obvious shill that was placed in the White House. Your smart enough to know that one candidate does not come from behind in a state vote count by making up 120,000 votes in 15 minutes while the other candidate receives 0 votes in that 15 minutes November 4th 5:30 to 5:45 am. 2020.

But I digress, I know how you feel and then some. Being the only boy of 5 plus the youngest. Growing up with the devil for a dad is not all it's cracked up to be. So forward on and be successful in your endeavors.
