Only till November. This is a completely different election cycle. The assumption is she would the nominee because she is the incumbent vice president. And you don't typically replace an incumbent president. Because the whole point is to keep your party in power. And if the American people saw fit to elect them once, you're going to run it back for the next term unless there is a really good reason NOT to do so. So one would ASSUME Harris would be the presumptive nominee if Biden bowed out. Unless the democratic party felt she wasn't electable on her own.
