In the debate, Trump admitted that he controlled the National Guard to control a peaceful protest on the streets so, he could do a photo-op holding a Bible upside down. “It’s a Bible”(when asked by press if it was his). So to lie that Nancy Pelosi had some sort of ‘Girl Power’ stronger than the POTUS is a bold faced lie. In addition, Trump during the debate ADMITTED he knew that chaos would attack the Capitol yet still provided the buses to his supporters to get to the Ellipse, still told his people to go to the Capitol, and still Tweeted, “Mike Pence didn't have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!”
AND THIS, “These are the things and events that happen when a sacred landslide election victory is so unceremoniously & viciously stripped away from great patriots who have been badly & unfairly treated for so long. Go home with love & in peace. Remember this day forever!”

it is a ridiculous statement. The statement in itself is a lie. It is probably true that we may not have had the "best" economy in the history of mankind like he said but the economy was the best it had been in decades. they count statements like that as lies ss Trump loves to embellish his record but the truth is that millions of illegal aliens have streamed into the country and some countries have emptied their prisons and insane asylums and shipped than to the US. The stock market has finally recovered to what it was when Trump was president. That is good new of course but that person that had a million dollar retirement account before the election saw it plummet to about 700,000 dollars. Now it is back to a million dollars but after inflation it is really only worth $700.000.

That was a lie (unless you consider bashing cops with poles and squeezing their heads in doorways as they choked peaceful). That was the deadliest attack on the seat of American power in over 200 years. It was thoroughly documented by photos, videos, and people who were there. It became a brutal hand to hand combat with police who were protecting the Capitol, not taking protesters on tours. On then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s actions on Jan. 6 Trump said, “Because I offered her 10,000 soldiers or National Guard and she turned them down.” Pelosi and then on then-House Speaker Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell called for military assistance, including from the National Guard.
Oh, I am sorry, you asked for just one lie. And there were so many more than what I just said that it was impossible to stop with just one of his lies.

The level of denial I am seeing from some leftists on this is just behind insane. At least you can admit it. But some people think if they admit the obvious it automatically makes them “pro Trump” or something which is such absolute insane nonsense.

Back in 2020 I knew Trump was going to lose the election. I wasn’t in denial about it (before or after). I could acknowledge he said (and tweeted back when he could) way too many asinine comments when he was already in a bad position given zeitgeist of pandemic among other things.

But what’s going on is that the White House was concert with the mass media to do all they could to hide Biden’s deteriorating mental and physical condition from the public for the last few years. Biden runs away from press conferences, has refused to release the recordings of his interview with Robert Hur, White House Aides walk close to him whenever he’s outside in public, etc.

This has come back and completely bit the democrats directly in the ass. Last Thursday the entire world got to see how truly decrepit Biden really is. He had PLENTY of time to prepare for that too. Plenty of time to rest up at camp David beforehand.

If democrats would of gotten REAL that Biden was too old to serve another term WHEN they should have they could of found replacement candidate a year ago. They could of buoy that candidate up for this years election to give them a chance.

But now they are only 4 months away from the election. Polls of shown even worse numbers for how Harris, Newsom, Widmore, etc would perform against Trump.

The DNC did this to themselves. And even if Trump gets sentenced to jail he can (and likely will) still win. He can pardon himself and head straight to the White House.

I can't say if it's accurate at a glance but there are two problems here. Firstly, the Seth Abramson and the New York Times appear to cater to the democratic audience, opening this article to bias. Secondly, a well-rehearsed opponent could catch these lies mid debate and expose them.
I've no doubt that Trump must have said some lies in there somewhere but his opponent could barely contest him. It's a failing of the two-party system, it may as well be a comedy sketch.

2. If the claim is true (and fact-checkers in the political arena are notoriously heavily biased,) that means Trump told a lie every 3.98 seconds. Are we really supposed to believe that drivel?

3. l googled "trump 602 lies" and only found one one tweet by an individual who made that claim. Nothing from any "news" (propaganda) outlet.

4. Did these same fact checkers examine all of Biden's statements for lies? What were the results?
