I only call the cops for medical emergency reasons mainly , but I had the cops called on me for petty things , mainly by my wack job neighbor for being to loud , and she called the cops on me because my dog barked at her , the lady is a complete wack job , and took me to court and I had to pay a fine , over my German Shepard , that at the time was a puppy still , apparently his bark scared her and she felt her life was threatened from him barking at her? I can’t stand the bitch , she is a complete wack job , now I have a record on my background , for out of control animal, , which makes no sense to me , as to how even is that a fucking charge? even the cops were shaking their heads as well , and said they were just doing their job , they also admitted to me that she was a wack job and called the cops on everyone. Luckily my other neighbors told me she calls the cops on everyone and just to stay away from her as much as possible. Sadly , some people are just cop happy and call the cops on every little thing imaginable , because they have nothing better to do with their lives. The cops did tell me she is digging her own grave, if it continues and told me I can press charges against her for harassment if she keeps calling the cops on me , luckily things calmed down and she no longer bothers me , but I so want to knock the bitch out for being a wack job , I have never had anything on my record , until I moved next to this bitch. I just found out recently that it’s on my record , and thinking maybe this is why I am having a hard time landing a job? For Animal out of control? What kind of shit is that? like I have any control over a puppy barking? It just pisses me off that people are this pathetic in life.
Bitte sagen Sie diesen Amerikanern, dass wir Ruhestörungen oder Gewalt nicht mögen
@geminidiamond
All of the things you mentioned above! But also things like you see people fighting, people playing loud music at night, you hear a neighbor screaming, or if you get into a vehicle accident you have to call the police if the damage is over I think $500. I'm not sure. But every time I've ever been in a vehicle accident, I immediately called the police, even looked at the damage. By the way, those accidents… #NotMyFault. Oh, and if I ever have to pull my gun on someone, even if they run away, I still have to call the police! But this is Florida, I'm so mainly I only have to report the crime that they committed against me! I'll mention that I drew my weapon, but they're probably just gonna thank me. one sheriff here in Florida is offering free target practice and gun safety lessons every Saturday. Reason he stated in a press conference was "if somebody ever breaks into your house, we want you to shoot them dead, do not injure them please! Do us a favor and save the taxpayers millions of dollars by learning to aim!” Crazy, right? However, there has not been one home invasion robbery in that county since that press conference, so it seemed to work. ¯\_(ッ)_/¯

@CrazyGirl2 what are you packing for heat these days?
@exitseven Oh hell yes! Obviously not on me when I’m seeing patients, or on campus. But everywhere else, yes! I’ve had a stalker, and then I had my life threatened! Not to mention what happened when I was 13!
@CrazyGirl2 I have a S&W model 66. I got the 4 inch barrel.
@exitseven Oh, sorry it was very late when I read your question. I have Gen 4 Glock-17 w/ a Custom Trigger, Tritium sights, and an Agency Arms Magwell as my EDC w/ a UM Tactical Carbon-Fibre Holster. At home I have a Taurus P45 w/ a Special Edition Titanium slide, Two AR-15, and a Beretta CX4 Storm 9mm Although this one is not mine, this is my EXACT set-up: s3.amazonaws.com/.../..._beretta_cx4_storm_640.jpg
Holy shit Crazy, you sound like my hubby. I have mine in my purse, .357 Magnum. He has a safe
@exitseven Actually sweetie, I don't own ANY assault rifles. I wish, but they have not been allowed to be made or imported since 1984 (I believe). So they run around $20k not including the ATF tax stamp which is (I think) an additional $5k! Although assault rifles ARE legal in the US, they are controlled under the national firearm act. And I don’t have any NFA weapons. Although firing a fully automatic is HELLA fun, no cap! But neither of mine meet the definition of assault weapons. Here is part of the definition for "assault rifle” (source is below it)
It must be capable of selective fire. (semi, 3 round burst, and full auto)
It must have an intermediate-power cartridge: more power than a pistol but less than a standard rifle or battle rifle; examples of intermediate cartridges are the 7.92×33mm Kurz, the 7.62×39mm and 5.56×45mm NATO.
Its ammunition must be supplied from a detachable box magazine.
Source:
--------------------------------------------------------------
None of the weapons I carry or own have "select fire" capability. "Select fire" is a function that allows a weapon to function in semi automatic, fully automatic, or three round burst, modes.
Every firearm that I own is semi automatic only. Meaning pull the trigger and hold it down, only one bullet comes out. Also, my Beretta CX four storm (that I included the picture of a similar Weapon). uses a standard 9mm pistol cartridge, meaning, other than a detachable box magazine, it fits zero qualifications for assault weapon under the definition. My AR-15’s are 2 out of 3, with the box magazine, and the ammunition, but neither have select fire. I have two because one is a rifle, and one is a carbine.
2 of 2
The figurative “fight" between which is better the AR 15 or the AK-47 will likely go down as the most futile argument of all time. Quite literally comes down to one thing… Preference!
Now, if we were to discuss the AK-47 versus the original M-16… I would say that the AK-47 (the Kalashnikov) would win hands down! My great grandfather faught in Vietnam, and said that the original M-16 was a piece of crap, until they sent out a kit to modify it. Apparently they would "jam more frequently than a Jar of Smuckers"!. I have several thousand rounds down range out of both of mine. Neither of them have jammed once! (I'm also ashamed to say I have not cleaned either of them since I got them! Yet they still fire perfectly well using only cheap range reloads! And yes… I am well aware that I need to get them cleaned. I'm planning to take them in next weekend and have them strip down and cleaned. Yes, I'm perfectly capable of doing it myself, I just can't be bothered. As for maintaining the AR… I don’t know how much easier it can get than pop one pin out, hinge the upper forward, push one detent and remove the Bolt Carrier Group. But if it is, I guess it is. I don’t own one. My dad has several, and he thought his daughter would be safer with an AR-15. I’m gonna guess when you choose one over the other to protect your daughter, you might think that one’s better ¯\_(ッ)_/¯ Again, from everything I’ve heard, it’s a preference issue.
Now since my life may depend on my G-17, I DO clean that either twice a year, or after every time I take it to the range! I used to go every month. But it’s difficult w/ my schedule right now. I haven't been since late last year. In December I went w/ my dad, and Lee. I cleaned it after that, and I cleaned it last month. but I pull the slide off and I do oil it every couple of months, and wipe it down. Lee got me a laser target system, so I can practice drawing and firing every week or so. to keep my muscle memory tight.
@exitseven I’ll have to DM you the link to the source
Eh, I’ve already had one stalker, once you’ve experienced that… You start thinking “maybe it’s not such a bad idea to carry". Plus, they were mostly all gifts! The G-17 was a 21st birthday present, the first AR was an 18th birthday present, the other AR I bought so Lee and I could go to the range w/ me and not have to “share”. The CX4 Storm is “on loan” from my dad, but he’s never asking for it back! I did buy the.45 myself for a bedside table decoration just incase I leave my G-17 in my purse!
Absolutely nothing wrong w/ a.357 magnum! Excellent weapon to carry! They never jam, and they always go bang when you need them to! Glad to know you are protected if, god forbid, you should ever need it
Thank you so much for the MHO ⭐️

I called the police a few weeks ago when there were gunshots fired right next to my window.
Shit! Mind you live in the USA. What about the guy you thought was stalking you
@DarkLegacy
Haven't heard anything from him in a while. But he could be stalking me without my knowledge.🤷🏼♀️

A man loudly raped a neighbor three times last April. Everyone called the police. In Jan another (same house) attacked them all with a knife. 13 dragged him away. Lots of calls for fights in the middle of the night in between. I think their average is five calls per loud incident. We all lack sleep.
True. I find it funny all the cowboys and supermen who say, "I'll go handle it." And they end up in jail, too. I hope you get some sleep! Seems rowdy where you are.
It's true, I agree.
It usually stirs the pot. People have to live intensely bad neighbors behaviors to understand having to call police.
Thanks. 🥱
When I first had my daughter, I called the police on a house nearby for loud music at night. During the day, it's whatever. We even talked to them about it. But at the time she sleeps for a long period? Oh police time.
Hey, they know what they are doing choosing to play it loud at night. Some things are fair game.
Yea rocking the baby to sleep and calming her while thump thump bang bang is going on. Her dad was going to go out there with a rifle to shut them up. I didn't want to see how that played out, do police. Lesser evil
Hahaha Someone posted here once they threatened a loud radio with a baseball bat. I think you guys top that.
Lol, great. He is an ex German soldier. Quiet type and calculating. The police actually did handle them. No loud music at night since. Hubby isn't in jail, and the baby slept well thereafter.
lol Nice!
I wish ours feared the police like that.
Which country?
Oh I meant our neighbors.
If they pulled up with special force police, I'm sure they would chill out. Lol, hopefully it won't come to that where you live.
I'm hoping the owner kicks them out before it comes to that.
Wow. In my country they ate not merciful. In usa, I've seen SWAT, and they're like movie stars
Are not*
If they come out in my country, you will die. Not so much kids
And they only call them if they have weapons or before military force
And you definitely don't want the military there.
That sounds terrifying.
As opposed to living where they could be called? If i lived there, I don't think it's about control, but more about peace. The police would of regulated all that. Nobody wants to be a rebel. Mt country doesn't like rebels. Good note, if you survive, you'll go to jail for a small period compared to other countries.
Wait. If I survived? Or the people being raided?
If these people did that, all those times you called the police... here, just one time. Not a raid! Justice. People with weapons against police dont survive. Rebels carry weapons and/or assault officers.
Yea the police here, there would be peace in your neighborhood.
Oh gotcha.
Yes. That is the problem here the police don't do their jobs. They know the enforcement is weak so they take advantage.
I'd call The Police if I wanted them to get back together and go on tour.
I remember the moment this video premiered on MTV in 1983.
Last time I called the police, I was on my way to the airport in early morning (still dark) and there was a man walking and acting strange in the middle of the road. I almost hit him. I reported it to the police... later found out he had a medical episode and was getting help.
The last time I called the police was when I witnessed a dude running through a parking lot threatening people with a gun. Let's just say response time was FAST.
I bet. Whatever code they said at dispatch put a fire under their butts. Typical for felonious crimes.
This was a city with a population of about 100,000. I wish I would have timed it because they were there in literally 2 minutes. Actually one cop was there even sooner, but had to wait for another unit (minimum two for a gun call). 20 minutes later? I swear there were 40-50 units there. Pretty wild. I just made my statement and sat back and watched.
Wish you filmed it!
It’s best to avoid trouble in the streets with strangers because if you get into a fistfight over a small dispute, the police are gonna come and most people don’t want to have fist fights anymore with their fist nowadays they want to take out their guns and start shooting and that’s a disaster and not worth it
The police aren't going to get there in time to deal with any violent threat. They can however dispatch an ambulance to haul someone to the hospital for medical treatment or to transport human remains.
I INTENSELY DISLIKE POLICE. I have never called them but it would take some severe or mandatory reason for me to do so. I'll take the fireman any day those guys are awesome!!
They take so long to get out here, if I'm ever calling them it's to collect a body.
I call to either get a paper trail of ongoing issues, or to handle the aftermath of an issue.
If I’ve had to use my gun to protect my home from a home invader.
Or if I see a dumbfuck driving recklessly on the road.
If somebody broke into my house and I shot him I would call the police to clean up the trash.
If someone had harmed life, liberty, or property, someone was doing something suspicious, or I suspected criminal activity
For nearly ten years I had to repeatedly call the police on the gang bangers next door, and the police did nothing!
I wouldn’t. I’ll never call the police and you shouldn’t either don’t ever talk to the police. They’re not your fucking friends. Remember that. Fuck the police.
never had to call the cops before but if I had to it would be to beat someone to them first before they begin a false narrative
Anything that needs a number for the insurance because that don't do anything else here
If someone was committed a violent crime or was trying to break in
"Ein, zwei, polizei!"
Normally I just don't like a policeman who doesn't do his job honestly. But considering law systems in countries, we should call police to obey law.
I’d call to tell them there’s a dead intruder in my home, yard, driveway
If I see an emergency in progress.
The police don't give a shit about real danger.
unlikely...
I wouldn't
