I do suspect that when the heritage foundation wrote project 2025 that they assumed that Trump would be the next president and that they would want him to do what they identified him as the president who would likely implement their suggestions. It could be that he does not know any of the particulars so he does not want to comment on it. For all he knows it has a very controversial policy in to and the fake news would jimp all over it. Even though 99% of the poiicies are sound, pro American actions that will help put the country back on the right track it there was some radical religious policy in it Trump would never hear the end of it. I heard that it is over 900 pages. On the Project 2025 website in is much less than 900 pages. I do not know what is in the missing pages.

Why do you care about a mostly reasonable policy recommendation from the heritage foundation? No Trump was not consulted, but the heritage foundation like countless other organizations do in deed have every right to make policy recommendations.
That many of the people who work in the Trump Administration and probably will work in a future trump administration had a role is not relevant.
Again this is a primarily good set of goals. They are not however Trump's goals as trump clearly didn't set them out, some of them are some are not.
If you think this is a reasonable list of policy goals perhaps that is the problem. Somehow I think making abortion illegal, firing tens of thousands of federal workers, criminalizing birth control, we're putting the department of justice under presidential authority, ending special counsel, impoundment by executive and a whole boatload of other fuckery then that may be the problem irrespective of who proposed or supports it.
I am strongly in favor of each of the items you @drpepper12 just listed thou not all at the federal level.
1: Abortion is just a form of murder, a form of murder we as a people can no longer afford given far too few of us being born now to even sustain our population much less meet our need to expand to survive. Dido Birth control for the same reason. Both of theses however are Constitutionally State responsibility. In this regard I agree with Trump.
2: I would fire around 2+ million Federal workers without question.
The only legitimate Federal Government under our 11 page constitution would be very small the largest component of which being the standing military which represent less than 800 thousand of its current 2.9 million workforce: usafacts.org/.../
As a policy priority most of that standing army being a threat to the republic and unnecessary to our immediate needs not being in an Active war I would also lay off leaving only a relativity small leadership in the officer corp who's job would be to keep up their leadership and military skills. The rest would go to their respective State National Guards, where they would be checked under 50 elected governors instead of just 1 president.
3: department of justice is unfortunately a part of the Federal Executive due to one of the flaws in our Federal Constitution. I say a flaw because I really don't think this domestic agency belongs in a goverment who's legitimate power is almost entirely external in nature.
As such I would largely abolish most of the DOE, along with its army of secrete police. What remains would be limited to lawsuits against State Governments not individuals. The rulings of which would be enforced by National guard per Article 1 Section 8 clause 16. Thus allowing said acts to be accountable in elections of both the president and the governors of the States who agree to help him, rather than entirely unaccountable as it is now.

I've never heard anything about "Project 2025" from Rick Wiles or Doc Burkehardt on their TruNews program, so maybe it's not very important, or maybe it doesn't exist
I'm sure that if there's anything important enough to be discussed about this "Project", TueNews/Faith and Values will cover it. But I do admit that there's a lot of news that they don't cover very much, that I wish they WOULD cover
