Why would that be disqualifying? It's a current issue with people on both sides. It's well known that a lot of people want to make abortion illegal. Illegal means there is some kind of punishment.

This debate has been going on for ages, and it's never been disqualifying.

Yea, there are some one-issue voters, but most people are not. So some people would not vote for Trump because of it. But it's highly unlikely they'd vote for him anyway. Others would vote FOR hm because of it. In the end, it probably won't make much difference.

It's just one of dozens of issues. Besides, currently abortion is legal in the US at the federal level, which means the president has no say in whether someone is punished for it. Only Congress can do that.
