Biden recently said "It's time to put Trump in the bullseye". Using the logic dimocrats used to try to blame Trump for the January 6th attack on the capitol, it seems equally logical to blame Biden for the shooting, no?

I don't think there's enough evidence from hyperbole to assume that without those words Trum wouldn't be shot at. We can reasonably assume that without Trump's speech on January 6, thr insurrection wouldn't have happened. Let's say Trump didn't have a rally in Washington on January 6, would there be large numbers of his supporters ready to storm The Capitol? Probably not. Biden saying something that possibly alludes to shooting Trump in an area that Trump was not to people who didn't take immediate action stretches the likelihood that he intended for the shooting to take place.

Biden is not solely to blame- he has had a lot of help from other Democrats, including the party's media arm and those who didn't do their jobs on 7/13. But he's probably the one most responsible, because even if he is mostly reading from a script or a teleprompter, it's still the occupant of the White House lying and exaggerating about Trump, and lots of people see it and internalize it. He's put his face and name to the vicious propaganda and incitement and has done nothing to stop other Democrats from engaging in it, something the party's leader should be doing.

That's not how responsibility works. I mean, unless he actually ordered it. Sure, his rhetoric probably contributed to the shooter wanting Trump gone, just so did a million other people's rhetoric. Responsibility sits with the shooter and anyone else that knowingly helped his plan.

I should have read the second part. The way Dems tried to blame Trump for the capitol hill riots was also absolutely wrong. The only thing that matters is who literally took action and who literally helped or directed them to take action. Ambiguous statements don't matter to me.
